Say what you want about Piers Morgan, but his points here are spot on.

When the U.S. hockey team loudly and proudly sang the national anthem after winning the gold medal, international media superstar Piers Morgan didn't hold back and was 100% authentic.

The United States defeated Sweden on Friday to claim the IIHF World Junior Championship gold medal, but it wasn't just the title that grabbed everyone's attention, but what happened next as well. (Related: USA wins gold medal at IIHF World Junior Championship with 6-2 win over Sweden)

We all know the story about the United States Women's National Team (USWNT) in the sport of soccer. A good portion (if not the majority) of them, but not all of them, refuse to show any American pride despite representing a country that clearly hates them. There is. Well, our world junior hockey team sang the national anthem with incredible passion, absolutely loud and proud when it comes to their love for the greatest country in the world.

Piers Morgan loved it, and it also conveyed a simple message: “Be patriotic or don't join American Track and Field.” And he hilariously CC'd both Megan Rapinoe and her USWNT.

Yes, I get it, this guy is all over the map, and frankly, I think it's funny because it stays on top of the media world and gets people talking about him. Because I think that's his strategy. But now we know it's real and he's right. If he's going to wear the red, white, and blue and represent the United States, he better do it well.

Not the kind of anti-American filth that the USWNT is feeding us.
