British journalist Piers Morgan on Wednesday asked on his show whether Uyghurs would become new “members” of President-elect Donald Trump’s “Make America Great Again” movement, before calling out “The Young… A heated argument broke out between “Turks” host Cenk Uyghur and conservative podcaster Dave Rubin. (Maga).
Throughout the campaigns of President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris, Uyghurs have become outspoken critics of both officials, and have recently slammed the Democratic Party’s emphasis on “identity politics.” Morgan sparked a panel discussion on “Piers Morgan Uncensored” by asking Uyghurs about how people are starting to doubt whether they can become “full-fledged MAGA members” if they continue to criticize the Democratic Party. I cut it.
“Well, there’s no chance of that happening at all. I’m not like Dave Rubin, who’s a huge sell-out scammer. He changed all his positions, to no avail, and shouldn’t have been here. It’s just a waste of space,” said the Uyghur.
Morgan then immediately jumped into questioning the “Young Turks” host, asking him if he really believed what he said after Rubin talked about “uniting.” (Related article: “Why are you laughing?”: Piers Morgan criticizes left-wing journalist who grins over CEO assassination charge)
“Yeah, no, I’m not interested in uniting with a complete fraud like Dave Rubin. So, brother, when you were on The Young Turks, you were Mr. Progressive and You told me you agreed with us 100%. Now, all of a sudden, you agree with Trump 100%,” the Uyghur said.
“You’re not being subtle like we are. Look, when a guy gets shot and raises his fist, that’s courage. When he does a McDonald’s photo shoot, it works. ” added the Uyghur. “No problem, right? If he wants to cut the Pentagon off, that’s great. Those are progressive positions. Anti-corruption, progressive positions, anti-war, progressive positions.”
Uyghurs continued to criticize Rubin, saying they couldn’t believe he changed all of their “ideology overnight” and adding, “All this crazy outrageous stuff you guys said about ‘Young Turks’… He demanded an apology from conservatives for the lie.
clock:
In January 2013, Rubin became the newest member of “The Young Turks” network, hosting his own show called “The Rubin Report.” However, during 2020, Rubin published a book reflecting on his time on “The Young Turks” network and later became a vocal critic of Democrats before registering as a Republican in Florida.
Morgan allowed Rubin to respond. The conservative host called the Uyghurs’ comments “nonsense.”
“I appreciate that, Piers. But the fact of the matter is, what Cenk has proven is exactly what everyone in America and around the world is trying to overcome. What he provided there. No one wants that,” Rubin said. “Not only would no one believe it, he had it pre-packaged and ready to go, which is total bullshit. Yes, it’s sold out. It’s such nonsense.”
“If you’re anti-corruption and anti-war, you should get on board the Trump train. But your endless hatred, the divisiveness of you calling everyone racist and white supremacist, things like that. Everything,” Rubin added. “That’s why you’re not respected. But I’m not going to get into the personal aspects of that. What I’m talking about now is something that has changed culturally, but let’s dance with that.” Anyone can understand the pain of doing so, but it’s not necessary.I don’t think many people will buy it.
The two then began talking, and the Uighur continued to insult Mr. Rubin, who had turned Republican.
“Hey, please Trump again. Please Trump again. Will he go from Bernie to Trump and pretend? Come. Come on, brother,” the Uighur said.
Rubin pushed back.
“I tell people what I believe and I’m open and honest about it,” Rubin said.
After Trump’s victory in November, Uyghur told Mr. I explained how I believe there is no such thing. There is only “establishment”.
