Pima – The City of Pima is thrilled to announce the ribbon cutting of the brand new City Hall complex. The official ribbon-cutting ceremony will be held on Tuesday, May 9th at 6pm. The entire region is invited to participate as this will be a special moment for the town of Pima.

Light refreshments will be provided to the first 150 attendees, courtesy of the City of Pima. Additionally, there will be a raffle to win a Pimatown hat or hoodie, giving everyone a chance to win some great Pimatown merchandise.

During the event, a tour of the new complex will be held with the guidance of the mayor and members of the town council. This is a unique opportunity for everyone to see the new facility up close and learn more about the features that make it a valuable asset to the entire community.

The building at 110 W. Center Street in Pima was officially the building of the Graham County Peace Court. However, Pima town manager Vernon Batty said the county had moved the courts to the center and the building remained in place. The City of Pima owns the building and will use it as the site of the new City Hall. It will house the offices of at least four town officials and provide a new chamber for town council meetings.

“We are very excited to move into this new building. The old building has served us well, but now it will give us more space to do what we do.” said Mr Batty.

The Old City Hall could be used as offices for the Pima Police Department, but at this time there are no clear plans for the future of the building. Before becoming City Hall, it was the Valley National Bank.

After the ribbon-cutting ceremony, participants are invited to attend the regular town council meeting at 7:00 pm.

The new Pima City Hall complex is an important addition to the town and the City of Pima looks forward to sharing it with the community. Please join us for this important opportunity.
