Celebrating the Super Bowl is more than just getting together for the game. Accessing and returning from games should also be considered.
Alcohol seems to be automatically included in many sports gatherings. To avoid driving under the influence of alcohol, the Prescott Valley Police Department (PVPD) encourages citizens to be responsible not only to themselves but to each other.
Instead of driving alone, carpool or take a taxi for each celebration. If necessary, pick up the key from the driver.
Thanks to a grant from the Arizona Governor’s Highway Safety Service (GOHS), local police traffic units will have a special focus on drivers with disabilities over Super Bowl weekend. If you see someone driving recklessly, please contact the nearest police station or call 110.
