Playboy and Maxim model Masumi Max has died at her home in Las Vegas, TMZ reported Thursday.
Authorities found Max dead at his Las Vegas-area home Thursday morning while responding to a call, law enforcement said. TMZ. Initial assessments reportedly indicate no criminal activity, but a comprehensive investigation is underway to determine the circumstances surrounding her death.
Starting his modeling career in 2000, Max has graced the pages of various magazines, including Maxim, Alt Magazine, and Bizarre Magazine. TMZ noted that her work with Playboy was particularly noteworthy, as she was a familiar presence at events held at the Playboy Mansion in the late 2000s and early 2010s.

In addition to her modeling career, Max also had acting credits, primarily in B-movies such as “Corn Man: American Vegetable Hero'' and “Giant Battle Attack,'' the paper said. She also appeared in xXx: State of the Union, starring Samuel L. Jackson and Ice Cube, in an uncredited role as the girlfriend of Zeke, played by rapper Xzibit. According to TMZ, Max has shifted his focus to alternative modeling in recent years, often appearing in horror and cabaret shows and producing YouTube videos.
