Safford — Recreational softball players will really enjoy April with three tournaments.
The first tournament is the First Responder Tournament, which will take place March 31st and April 1st at the Fairgrounds.

Eligible participants are firefighters, law enforcement, paramedics and medical workers, and search and rescue volunteers.

The next tournament will be held at the Fairgrounds on April 22nd and will utilize the Mount Graham Safe House.
Entry to the co-ed tournament is $250 per team, and home run bracelets are $10. The funds will be used to develop shelters for victims of domestic violence in Greenlee County.

The FCI Safford Employees’ Club will host its final tournament of the month, a slow-pitch co-ed tournament on 29 April at the Fairgrounds.
The fee is $200 per team and each team must include at least 4 women.
