Police Investigate After Human Head Washes Up On Shore

Miami-Dade police are investigating after a human head washed up on the shore of a popular South Florida tourist beach on November 12th.

Miami-Dade Police Department (MDPD) Detective Andre Martin reported that a beach worker in Key Biscayne, Florida, made the horrifying discovery at approximately 8:36 a.m. people. They called Key Biscayne Police, who confirmed the discovery of the human head and contacted MDPD. According to People, the city of Miami-Dade and local Key Biscayne authorities are expecting information from the medical examiner’s office regarding the identity of the deceased.

According to People magazine, the gender of the deceased has not yet been determined and the official cause of death has not yet been released. Martin said he suspects the remains are those of an adult male, but that has not yet been confirmed.

Martin added that the case is not classified as a homicide at this time.

“I’m not going to discount any possibility at this point,” he told People magazine.

“This may be an accident or a missing person; it is too early to determine the circumstances.”

The beach area behind the Key Colony II Ocean Sound condominium, located at 251 Crandon Blvd., was cordoned off with yellow police tape as part of the investigation. CBS News.

Bahman Amini, a resident of the condominium, said he has lived in the condominium for 40 years and has never experienced anything like this.

“We’ve seen everything here, but nothing like the human head that was found this morning. It makes me afraid to go to my favorite beach,” Amini told CBS News. spoke.

“This is shocking, shocking. You don’t hear much about it. You’ve heard about drugs washing up on beaches and things like that, but heads,” he said.
