Police investigating deadly shooting in Scottsdale, arrest made

Scottsdale Police have made an arrest in connection with the death of 18-year-old Terrivonni Santana Williams.

Stephanie Cujo is Williams’ aunt. She said her nephew just moved to Scottsdale from Casa Grande last week. Cujo said she received a call late Saturday night that Williams had been killed.

Cudjo told 12News about the altercation that led to the shooting.

She and her family said Williams was a happy, humble young man who always tried to make others laugh.

His death sparked a manhunt that lasted all night as investigators determined the suspect had fled the scene.

Scottsdale detectives found the juvenile suspect hiding in nearby Pinal County. He was arrested by the Pinal County Regional SWAT team at 4:52 am.

Cudjo was relieved when authorities arrested the suspect, but he was unable to fill the void left.
