CASAGRANDE, Ariz. — Two men and a teenager have been charged in connection with the murder of a man west of the Casagrande Mountains, a spokesman for the Casagrande Police Department said.
At about 4:38 am on Saturday, police were called to Isom Road between Arika Road and Shed Road, with reports that someone had been shot on the road. There they found her 30-year-old Julian Reynolds of Arizona City dead.
Two suspects, 21-year-old Roberto Barrera and 20-year-old Victor Lille, were driving in the area with a 16-year-old friend when their car ran out of gas, according to a police statement. the detective knew.

While the trio waited for a friend to refill the gas, Barrera and Lille robbed another car in the area. Police say the vehicle belonged to Reynolds, who was known to frequent a nearby shooting range to collect brass.
Reynolds confronted Barrera and Lille, and Barrera shot him. Reynolds was later pronounced dead at the scene by first responders.
A 16-year-old boy fled the scene and was later found and questioned by police. He was released by his parents and no charges have been filed at this time.
Barrera and Leal fled the scene in a car with some of Reynold’s property, police said.
Detectives located Barrera and Lille and took them into custody. Her K-9 of the Casa Grand Police Department found the murder weapon in the desert near the crime scene. Police also said they found Reynold’s property in the possession of the two.
During the investigation, police discovered that another 16-year-old boy helped Barrera and Lille cover up evidence of the shooting. Authorities recommend prosecution for tampering with evidence.
Barrera and Lille are being held at the Pinal County Adult Detention Center and charged with first-degree murder, third-degree robbery, and tampering with evidence.
