Police investigating ‘suspicious’ death in Flagstaff

COCONINO COUNTY, Ariz. — The Flagstaff Police Department is investigating “suspicious” circumstances surrounding the recent death of a 38-year-old woman.

On Oct. 1, officers received a report of a person seen with an unresponsive female in a vehicle near Beulah Boulevard and Interstate 17.

Officers stopped the vehicle on Milton Road and found an unresponsive woman inside. She was later pronounced dead after lifesaving measures were attempted.

The woman was identified as Sandy Singer of Tonalea.

Law enforcement officials conducted interviews, executed search warrants, and continue to investigate Singer's death. Anyone with information is asked to contact Flagstaff Police. 928-774-1414.
