Police Release Bodycam Footage Of Tyreek Hill’s Detainment

Miami police released body camera footage of Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill's arrest on Sunday.

The Dolphins statement On Monday, he praised Miami-Dade Police for quickly releasing the footage, but also called for swift action against the officers who behaved in a “despicable” manner. Fox 35.

The video shows officers pulling over Hill's McLaren, then one of the officers walks up to the driver's side of Hill's car and knocks on the window, to which Hill rolls down the window and says, “Hey, don't knock on my window like that.” (RELATED: Police detain NFL star Ahed at Dolphins season opener)

The officer asked Hill why he wasn't wearing his seat belt, to which Hill continued, “Don't knock on the window like that.”

The officer responded, “Why are you holding it up?”

Hill then told the officer to give him a ticket because he would be late for the Dolphins' season opener against the Jacksonville Jaguars, then rolled down his window again.

The officer told Hill to keep his window up or “we'll throw you out of the car.”

When Hill refused to roll down his window, the officer told him, “This isn't a game,” and forcibly removed him.

The video then shows an officer dragging Hill from the car while two others help pin him to the ground.

Hill then reportedly called agent Drew Rosenhaus and said, “You're going to get arrested, Drew.”

One of the officers told the star receiver, “If we tell you to do something, you do it. You do what we tell you to do, not what you want to do. You're a little confused.”

As he sits on the side of the road after being detained, Hill is heard telling officers, “I'm just a black man in America with a nice car.”

One of the officers responded: “We're black too, brother. We're people of color too. Don't treat us differently.”

Hill was only issued a traffic ticket and left the scene with Rosenhaus, who was driving Hill's McLaren, FOX35 reported.

After being restrained, Hill caught seven passes for 130 yards and a touchdown in the Dolphins' win over the Jaguars. Stamuse.
