Police reportedly arrested porn star Kendra Sunderland in Texas on August 1 on a felony charge of possession of a controlled substance.
According to legal documents, the 29-year-old adult film star was taken into police custody around noon in Montgomery County, Texas. TMZSunderland was allegedly in possession of marijuana, which is still illegal in Texas, and court documents say she had less than one gram of THC in her possession at the time of her arrest, according to TMZ.

The circumstances that led to Sunderland's arrest have not been disclosed and it remains unclear what prompted police to investigate the adult film star.
According to TMZ, Sunderland currently lives in Nevada, where it is legal for adults over the age of 21 to possess up to 2.5 ounces of marijuana in a private home or licensed social lounge. It is unclear whether she was aware of Texas law, which strictly prohibits the use and possession of marijuana, according to TMZ.
Sunderland has spoken out about the incident and expressed his dissatisfaction with it.

“I was advised not to say anything. I'm not going to incriminate myself any more,” she said, according to TMZ.
“I just know I'm not a criminal. I just smoke marijuana.”

Sunderland shot to fame in 2014 when a webcam video she filmed in a library at Oregon State University went viral. She became known as “Library Girl” but was later expelled from the university and faced legal action, according to a report.
