Portland Hosts World-Record Drag Show That Lasted 48 Straight Hours

The drag show, which began Monday, lasted 48 hours straight in Portland, Oregon, eventually breaking the Guinness World Record for longest drag show, according to KGW8.

Gay apparel company Wildfang, which organized the event in partnership with venue Darsells, attracted more than 2,500 people at the Portland Mercury to raise $250,000 for The Trevor Project. report.

KGW8 reported that many of the performers at the show spoke about the importance of holding drag shows as anti-drug laws were passed and promoted in many states.
