Preps: LWHS boys’ tennis team wins 9-0 | Kingman Daily Miner

Chandler – Lee Williams dominated the high school boys’ tennis match in Chandler on Thursday, March 9, defeating Seton Catholic Prep 9-0.

In singles matches, the volunteers dominated the Trojans after losing only six matches. Senior No. 1 Cohenjurhus won his 6-0 easily. Start the route at 6-0.

Lee Williams’ other singles winners are sophomore Tyler McNiven (6-2, 6-1), third-placed sophomore Connor Brown (6-1, 5-0), fourth-placed sophomore of Brigham Damron (6-0, 6-1), No. 5 Freshman Max Swapp (6-4, 6-4) and No. 6 Jr. Reiley King (6-0, 6-0).

Lee Williams’ doubles winners were No. 1 Juelfs and McNiven (8-0), No. 2 Swapp and Brown (8-3), and No. 3 King and Damron (8-6).

Lee Williams improved to 3-1 on the season with the win.

The Kingman-Lee Williams High School men’s tennis team suffered its first loss of the season on Wednesday, March 8, going 9-0 at AZ College Prep.

Surprise – Kingman High School’s men’s tennis team fell 0-4 in a surprise 9-0 loss to St. John Paul II on Thursday, March 9.

The Bulldogs lost 9-0 at home to Basis Flagstaff on Tuesday, March 7.

Surprise – Lee Williams High School’s women’s tennis team withdrew from the game against AZ College Prep on Wednesday, March 8, losing the season 2-1. The Thursday, March 9th game has been cancelled.

Surprise – The Kingman High School women’s tennis team slipped 2-2 in a surprise 7-2 loss to St. John Paul II on Thursday.

Kingman beat sixth-placed Victoria Monjilo (6-6, 6-0) in singles and the third-placed team of Alicia Williams and Monjiro in doubles.

Kingman – Basis Flagstaff beat Kingman 8-1 on Tuesday, March 7th.

Cassidy Hoover, the fourth-placed singles player, was Kingman’s only win (7-6, 7-5).
