The Arizona Community Foundation of Yavapai County has honored Prescott College graduate Courtney Osterfelt with the Foundation’s Professional Leadership Award.
Osterfeldt is the executive director and founder of The Launch Pad, an inclusive nonprofit organization that provides space and culturally relevant programming for teens in Yavapai County.
Launch Pad, which began on the campus of Prescott College and is now located in the City of Prescott, offers after-school drop-in hours, theme-based clubs, summer camps, and school break programs.
Kathleen Murphy, chair of the Prescott College Board of Trustees and former CEO of Yavapai Big Brothers Big Sisters, a past recipient of awards from the Arizona Community Foundation, said: He commented as follows. I graduated from Prescott College to educate leaders who create positive change in society. ”
