Prescott police have arrested two people in connection with an armed robbery of a taxi in Prescott in January. Christopher Caudle, 50, and Christy Chilton, 47, got into a taxi around 10:25 a.m. on Block 100 of North Arizona Street, authorities said. Caudle pointed his gun at the driver, who told him to drive with her gun pointed. She was then told to park her car in a 500-block parking lot on 6th Avenue, where she was ordered out. Caudle and Chilton then drove off with the victim’s belongings still inside. The vehicle was later found in the parking lot of the Hilton Garden Inn on the 300 block of North Montezuma Street. The two were found around 2:41 p.m. Saturday and were charged with armed robbery, aggravated assault, kidnapping, theft of transportation and disorderly conduct in Yavapai County Jail. Caudle was also charged with resisting arrest by attempting to flee police. He was also found to be in possession of drug paraphernalia.
