The Prescott Valley Police K9 Team, along with the Arizona Law Enforcement K-9 Association, Public demo on Tuesday, July 18, 2023, Findlay Toyota Centre, 3201 Main Street, Prescott Valley. Doors open at 5pm and the event starts at 6pm. Demos are free and open to the public.

This demo is the culmination of 4 days of intensive training for the K9 team. Starting July 17, 75 teams from across the state will arrive in Prescott Valley to take certification exams, gain experience and attend seminars. Prescott Valley K9 Sergeant Keven O’Hagan said this year’s focus will be on tactical leadership and tracking. The team will also receive training in areas such as trauma first aid for dogs.
The July 18th demonstration will include the introduction of local K9 teams from the Prescott Valley, Chino Valley, Prescott and Yavapai County Sheriff’s Offices. Demos include obedience and realistic scenarios that showcase his K9 team’s skills in fighting crime.
ALECA training and demonstrations are provided free of charge to member law enforcement agencies through the sale of merchandise such as T-shirts, hats, dog toys, and other products available at demonstrations.
