‘Pretty Big In His Own Mind’: Drew Bledsoe Blasts Tony Romo Who Replaced Him As Cowboys Franchise QB

Dammit, Drew! Tell me how you really feel!

The first NFL Sunday of the year was a great one for me. My Miami Dolphins started the season with a win. 1-0my fantasy football team (the Miami Sharks) repeated the same beginning as the Fins and I won a fair bit of money on my bets. Yeah, it was a pretty good day and a great way to start the new campaign.

Well, NFL legend Drew Bledsoe celebrated the league's comeback in a very different way. Instead of having a blast, my man opted for all-out war. And it was very abrupt. Not only did he offer some pretty scathing criticism of Tony Romo, but he also praised the iconic Tom Brady for being a better teammate than the former Dallas Cowboys quarterback.

His 14 years In the National Football League, Bledsoe will be remembered for two of his biggest accomplishments: 1. Replacing Brady as the starter for the New England Patriots, and 2. Replacing Romo as the starter for the Cowboys.

Appearing on ESPN's “Sunday NFL Countdown,” Bledsoe was candid about the differences between the two. (RELATED: Violent brawl breaks out during Raiders vs. Chargers game, 2 players ejected)

Bledsoe described Brady as “inquisitive, almost annoying,” and never considered him a threat because he was “soaking up all the information.”

Romo on the other hand… well… it’s a completely different perspective.

“In Dallas, [Bill] “Parcells made the decision at halftime of the game to take me out and put Romo in,” Bledsoe said. “I really didn't agree with that decision. Romo, if you're watching this, you know this is true. He made his ideas a lot bigger the minute he became a starter, and he was no longer that inquisitive, inquisitive guy.”

“That was the difference between him and Tommy. Tommy became the starter but still had all the questions. Whereas Romo suddenly became the guy who had all the answers.”

it hurts.

Considering how much Tony's ego has grown, and the fact that he was dating Jessica Simpson during that time (LOL), I'm going to assume all of this is 100% true.
