Prince Harry Accuses New York Police Department Of ‘Cover-Up’ In Infamous Paparazzi Chase Case: REPORT

Prince Harry has reportedly questioned the handling of the infamous paparazzi car chase in May 2023, accusing the New York City Police Department (NYPD) of a “cover-up”.

Prince Harry’s security team sent a letter to the NYPD’s top brass letting them know how the former royal felt about the way the situation was handled. According to Daily Mail. Emails and letters seen by the Daily Mail show Prince Harry pressuring police to make arrests in connection with the car chase, threatening charges.

According to the Daily Mail, Prince Harry called the pursuit a “high-speed” chase and said photographers followed his and Meghan’s car as it traveled through the streets of Manhattan. He called on the police to take immediate action and make arrests.

The request came after John Hurt, the NYPD’s chief intelligence officer, sent two letters to the London police force obtained by the Daily Mail. The first notice was sent in September 2023, claiming there was not enough evidence to make an arrest. This was followed by another letter in December 2023 that appeared to claim there was sufficient evidence. According to the Daily Mail, law enforcement has not arrested any suspects in connection with the incident.
