PRISHA MOSLEY: It’s Not Hateful To Advocate For Ethical Medicine

I advocate for ethical and evidence-based medicine for them, so people accuse me of hating me with a trans identity.

My name is Prisha Mosley. I am 27 years old, a mother and a humiliating person. I am a traumatic childless person.

When I was 14, I Experienced Sexual assault. I struggled with eating disorders, depression, anxiety and panic attacks and adopted a trans identity by the age of 16. The doctors noted my pain in my period and my desire to be a boy, and began to lead the path of permanent destruction and loss of health.

When I said that girls could be boys and women, I believed in doctors. Symptoms of testosterone-induced hormonal imbalance – hot flashes, severe acne, weight gain, ovarian cysts, etc., I believed them when I described them as “male adolescence.” I believed them when they said that getting rid of my breasts was “lifesaving care” and that I needed to do so to avoid suicide.

I wasn’t old enough to understand that I wasn’t in a place enough or that I was being medically abused. When insulin is a hormone, or my pediatrician intentionally put me in a hormonal imbalance with the aim of changing the way I appeared, I didn’t realize that my insulin levels were affected by testosterone use. Now I have prediabetics as a result of their behavior. I didn’t know that I had not been notified or that I was lying when I gave “informed consent.” As the transition promised, I really believed that I would change sex and free myself from mental and emotional pain.

What happened to me is not a unique case. No children were born with the wrong body. And all doctors who say “the wrong birth” to healthy children mislead them at best, but are probably trying to make a profit. Humans come in men and women and cannot change sex. The gender is determined at the time of fertilization and cannot be changed no matter what your doctor promises or makes it into your body. Suffering patients who have been told that they can change sex or that cosmetic changes to secondary personality are a treatment for pain are being scams. No one deserves it. (Related: Supreme Court’s Greenlight Tennessee Prohibiting Sex Change Procedures for Children)

When I work with lawmakers to ban “gender-affirming care” for minors, it’s not because I hate them, but because I believe they deserve better. People with trans identities deserve ethical healthcare based on evidence rather than pseudoscience or false promises. The ever-growing evidence indicates that treatment that pushed the identified patients is not meeting their promises. In fact, they leave behind catastrophic and permanent physical damage. That’s the reason Other countries We recommend oppose these treatments. That’s why they should Stop here too. People with trans identities are not worth experimenting with healthy body parts when they are vulnerable.

When I needed help, I was treated unfairly by my doctor. I was scammed and medically hurt. I didn’t change my sex. I didn’t deserve to lose my healthy breasts, my functional endocrine system, or make false promises when I was desperate. This applies to everyone with a transidentity. No one can be born with the wrong body.

It’s love, not hatred, that I defend the truth and defend better health care. True hatred comes in the form of doctors who take advantage of those who are suffering and sell a bill of goods rather than heal them. I hate selling lies, and lying about someone’s sex is a lie that can lead to total devastation, like me.
