Irish comedian and actor Graham Norton spoke in an interview with Saturday's Telegraph about a tragic event in his past that changed his outlook on life.
When asked about the worst moment of his life, the veteran TV presenter said he suffered a life-threatening stabbing while attending drama school. He said the ordeal brought about a big change in his outlook.

“I got stabbed in 1989 and lost half my blood. But Norton believes the experience positively changed his approach to life's challenges. This event reminded him of the fragility of life and thus helped him refocus on what was truly important.
“The good thing was I was probably in my mid to late 20s. I was going into my third year of drama school and it just put everything into perspective,” the host shared Did. “They were casting for the show for the third year. There were a lot of people running to the bathroom crying and slamming doors. And I just sat there and thought, 'I'm not alive. I'm there.'' i'm good. I'm golden. So, in a way, it changed my life for the better. ”
