Russian President Vladimir Putin said on Thursday he tentatively supported the idea that a 30-day ceasefire in Ukraine, which was mutually agreed to meet on the terms, is being met.

Ukraine agreed to the terms of the ceasefire on Tuesday as Russian approval is pending during a meeting with US diplomats in Saudi Arabia. The United States also resumed military and economic aid to Ukraine during interim periods.
Putin emphasized that more protective measures need to be introduced to punish potential violations of the ceasefire, but added that Ukraine can spend 30 days on ReimM, according to the Associated Press.
The war has been furious for three years, bringing tens of thousands of lives in Ukraine and Russia. So far, the conflict has spent more than $170 billion in aid to the United States.
Initially, US-led peace negotiations sparked a blaze at a heated oval office meeting between President Donald Trump and Ukrainian President Voldy Zelensky. A few days after the incident, Zelensky apologised for the incident and repeated his interest in peace.
Additionally, Trump has threatened Russian sanctions and tariffs after Russia launched a massive attack on Ukraine’s infrastructure on March 7, saying Russia must pursue a ceasefire and a “final settlement agreement.”
