Jacob Chansley, better known as QAnon Sherman, has just left federal prison and is back in Arizona.

Federal records show Chansley is currently tending to a half-baked home somewhere in Phoenix, Florence, Tucson, or Flagstaff, Arizona.
In 2021, Chansley has become something of a face for the Capitol Riot, thanks in part to his costume. A photo of Chansley standing on the floor of the United States Senate in a horned headdress, paint on his face and a spear raised quickly went viral. He was part of the mob that traveled to Washington, D.C. and broke into the Capitol with other Arizonans ahead of President Joe Biden’s inauguration.
But Chansley grew up in Phoenix, graduated from Moon Valley High School, and started right-wing protests there as well.Months before the Capitol Riot, Chansley commonly seen in protests COVID-19 mandate and 2020 election at the Arizona State Capitol. Still, he dressed similarly and raved about QAnon and other right-wing conspiracies.
His antics earned him the title of Best Insurgent at Best of Phoenix 2021.
“Phoenix reporters already knew him from local right-wing protests. He was a 33-year-old aspiring actor who lived with his mother in Glendale after his apartment rent fell through. (the same mother who complained on his behalf when he wasn’t getting enough organic food in prison),” won the Best Insurgent Award.
Chansley was arrested on January 9, three days after the riots, and charged with disorderly conduct, violent trespassing, and obstructing official process. Among other crime counts. He eventually pleaded guilty in September 2021 to one count of obstructing official proceedings and was sentenced to 41 months in prison. From January 2022, he was held at a federal prison in Safford, Arizona.
Chansley was released to a halfway house after serving 27 months. As of Thursday, Chansley was under the custody of RRM-Phoenix, the Housing and Re-Immigration Service that oversees several half-finished homes across Arizona, according to prison records. I don’t know if you are at home.
