R. Kelly’s daughter Buku Abi claims in a documentary released Friday that she was sexually assaulted by her father when she was a minor.
“R. Kelly’s Karma: A Daughter’s Journey” is now streaming on the TVEI network, Abbi said. This is the first time Abi has come forward with allegations against her father. The father is currently serving a 20-year sentence for child sex crimes and a 30-year sentence for extortion and sex trafficking convictions.
“No one wants to be the child of a father who hurts women and children,” Abi says in the documentary’s trailer.
“He knows exactly why we can’t have the relationship we wanted with him,” she continued.

“He was my everything. For a long time, I didn’t want to believe that it had happened,” the famous singer’s daughter said tearfully. “Even if he was a bad person, I never knew he would do anything to me. I feel like that one millisecond completely changed my entire life.”
In the trailer, R. Kelly’s family members speak out about how the abuse allegations have affected their lives.
“If my son asks questions, I’ll be as honest as I can. But I’m not going to take him to prison to see his grandfather,” Abi said.

Abi claimed that R. Kelly sexually abused her when she was 8 or 9 years old, and that she was 10 when she first reported the incident to her mother in 2009.
“I was too scared to tell anyone. I was too scared to tell my mother,” she reportedly said in the documentary. people. “I remember waking up to him touching me. I didn’t know what to do, so I just lay there and pretended to be asleep.”

“If you don’t want to go to jail, don’t do anything that will get you locked up,” the singer’s son Robert Jr. said in the documentary, the paper reported.
