Raiders Attempt To Troll Patrick Mahomes With ‘Kermit The Frog’ Puppet, Might Cause Another Super Bowl Season Instead

Why poke a frog?

In a video posted to social media on Thursday, the Las Vegas Raiders defensive back Trey Taylor (a rookie, by the way) was photographed holding a Kermit the Frog doll. But it wasn't just any Kermit doll, the frog was wearing a Kansas City Chiefs jersey. More specifically, it was a Patrick Mahomes jersey with the number 15 on it. Oh! And the doll had the same kind of hair as Kermit. 3 times Super Bowl champion.

Yes, this already sounds like a bad idea, but it's even worse…

“I'm here! I'm here!” someone else said in the background, a reference to an expletive uttered by Mahomes during a Chiefs game. 30-29 A win against the Raiders in October 2022.

That's right, folks, they actually had the audacity to try to make fun of Patrick Mahomes.

clock:

At this point, I expect two things to happen: 1. The Chiefs will sweep the Raiders (twice) and 2. Kansas City will win their third straight championship and Patrick Mahomes will win his fourth.

Seriously, how stupid is Las Vegas and why on earth is a rookie causing trouble?

Trey Taylor wasn't even in the league in 2022! (Related: Bengals' Joe Burrow is apparently having a midlife crisis, but he's still only 27)

I'd love to know what Tom Brady (a minority owner of the Raiders) thinks about this because, knowing him, I don't think he would approve.

Especially when a rival team in another division is winning glory…

You need to try harder, Vegas. This is not what Sin City represents.
