Things are changing in Las Vegas! And dramatically!
The Las Vegas Raiders announced late Sunday night that they had fired offensive coordinator Luke Getsy after the team’s poor performance. 2-7 start. This was Getsy’s first campaign with the team. Ah, but that’s not all. Las Vegas also decided to retain quarterbacks coach Rich Scangarello and offensive line coach James Cregg. Scangarello and Clegg were also in their first year with the Raiders.
The Black and Silver teams are currently on a five-game losing streak after a heartbreaking 41-24 loss to the Cincinnati Bengals, something the franchise hasn’t done since 2018. On top of that, they dropped to 2 wins and 7 losses, which is one of the following. Worst record in NFL history.
We have relieved Luke Getsy, James Clegg and Rich Scangarello from their duties with the Las Vegas Raiders.

It’s easy to laugh at the Raiders right now, but I see a bright future ahead if they play their cards right.
Everyone knows I’m a Miami Dolphins fan in the NFL. In college, I was obsessed with the Miami Hurricanes. So obviously I’m a big fan of the UM quarterback. Cam Ward. Now, when the smoke clears, my Dolphins will probably be too good to pick No. 1, and even if they’re bad enough, they’ll probably stick with the No. 1 pick. tua tagovailoa.
So, I go back to Las Vegas…they have to tank the rest of the season to guarantee a top pick in the 2025 draft. And after that, bring in the Heisman Trophy favorite. I’m loyal to Trey-0-5, but Sin City is second on my list of favorite subways. Seeing Cam Ward in a black and silver jersey in that city will be something else.
Owner Tom Brady, quarterback Cam Ward, the Raiders could build one hell of a dynasty if they do it right — look at the opportunity in front of them, Las Vegas.
