A North Carolina resident recently experienced something he will likely never experience again. That was when I saw a rare albino deer. And to make the moment even more special, they captured the moment they burst out of the forest on camera. (Related: Watch epic video of man saving bald eagle and feel like a proud American)

In albinism, a genetic disease, animals are unable to produce melanin, the pigment that gives color to hair, eyes, and skin. Albino deer are extremely rare. 1 in 30,000 deer have conditions. The odds of finding one in the wild are even lower.
