Garlan Gudger’s PAC Raises Nearly $1.8 Million
Senate President R-Cullman Pro Tem Garlan Gudger shared on Wednesday that his Leadership Political Action Committee, known as Forge PAC, has successfully raised close to $1.8 million in just a span of seven months.
A campaign finance report submitted to the Alabama Secretary of State’s Office indicates that Forge PAC has collected a total of $1,789,800. Gudger claims this amount is likely the highest ever recorded by a committee of its kind in Alabama Senate history.
He attributes this financial uptick to what he describes as the “solid and true outcomes” achieved by the Senate Republican Caucus during the current Quadrennium.
“Many regard the Alabama Legislature as the most conservative in the nation, and we intend to earn that title. We’ll do this through dedicated effort, addressing tough issues directly, and sticking to our common-sense principles and core conservative values,” Gudger stated. “Our Senate Republicans have delivered solid results. This remarkable report demonstrates that Alabamians want us to continue on this path for another four years.”
The Forge PAC was established to provide financial support for conservative senators in their reelection campaigns. The Republican supermajority currently controls 27 out of 35 seats in the Alabama Senate, and Gudger underlines the importance of maintaining this power as a top political goal.
“Campaign season requires commitment, not just temporary enthusiasm. We will diligently seek resources every day leading up to the 2026 election,” Gudger remarked. “Our objective is straightforward: to ensure a conservative supermajority that is dedicated to improving the Alabama Senate.”
Currently in his second Senate term, Gudger took on the role of President Pro Tem at the beginning of the 2025 regular session and has intensified his fundraising efforts following a smaller giveaway.
