Recycling drop-off bins at Butler facility reopen

Daily Sun Stuff

As of this week, the recycling return bin at the City of Flagstaff Recycling Forwarding Facility (located at 1800 E Butler Ave) has reopened.

City officials said return bins will be available Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and will be closed on Saturday and Sunday until further staffing and operational plans are developed and implemented.

Trash cans will also be closed on Monday, May 29, in observance of Memorial Day.

Public recycling drop-off locations have been re-established to accept the same types of materials that the city collects for residential customers.

Glass should still be stored separately from other recyclable materials. Materials accepted for recycling have not changed and a flyer containing a list of acceptable and unacceptable materials can be found at: bit.ly/FlagstaffRecycle.
