Williams, Arizona – The town of Williams Route 66, two and a half hours north of Phoenix, is a year-round destination for thrill seekers and families.

The Canyon Coaster Adventure Park offers riders control over the main attraction, a mountain coaster that is almost a mile long.

“By moving the steering wheel forward, you can go from 27 to 31 miles per hour,” said general manager Timmy Lepert. “You can take a leisurely look at the scenery and take it [in] All the views you can do. ”

“When the snow comes, it’s great,” Repert said. “It just pulls people apart.”

Even if Mother Nature doesn’t reach it, the park is always ready to use four cutting-edge snow machines to create its own snow throughout the winter.

“You don’t have to drive to play with it,” Repert said.

Even during warm summer months, visitors can still tube 400 feet of the mountain lane.

“In the summer, when the snow melted, we put what they call ‘msnow’. It’s synthetic plastic, it becomes a fragment and we stitch it together and have four lanes, so it’s the same type of concept that snow goes downhill,” Repert said.

Beyond the rides, the Canyon Coaster Adventure Park features an arcade, a full bar and a grab and go restaurant.

The park is planning more attractions.

“We’re looking at phase 2. We want to start a few things. We’re probably going to start with miniature golf, maybe zipline,” Repert said.
