Regional transportation study meeting Thursday for East Valley

The Maricopa Government Association conducts research on long-term transportation planning for the area south of Apache Junction and Mesa.

MAG will host a virtual community meeting on Thursday, June 1st at 6pm. This meeting addresses current and future transportation needs.

The study area is a large, largely undeveloped area in northern Pinal County, located in the southeastern part of the MAG project area. The boundaries of the study area include Hawes Road in Mesa, the town of Queen Creek, and the Sun Tan Mountains Regional Park to the west. The Gila River Indian community, the unincorporated Santan Valley, and the town of Florence to the south. Head east on State Route 79 and US 60. To the north is Apache Junction and Southern Avenue in Mesa City.

If you can’t make it to the live virtual community meeting on June 1st, you can take our online survey from June 1st to June 15th.
