Relay for Life Yuma to host dinner celebrating cancer survivors

Yuma County, Arizona (KYMA, KECY) – Relay for Life Yuma will host a celebration dinner for cancer survivors and caregivers on Sunday, June 4th.

The dinner, which will be held at the Pivot Point Conference Center, coincides with National Cancer Survivors Day, according to a press release.

Ellie Evans, spokeswoman for Yuma County’s Relay for Life, said, “I want you to come and see for yourself that life after cancer can be beautiful, meaningful, and fun, despite its challenges.” You’ll find our community’s cancer survivor and caregiver dinner celebrations packed.” “With hope, friendship, triumph and compassion, we honor cancer survivors in our community. It draws attention to the ongoing challenges we face.”

Yuma from Relay for Life invites everyone, including cancer survivors, to a dinner party. Participating Survivors may bring one guest for free. Additional guests can purchase general admission tickets for $50.
