Rep. Elise Stefanik on Caroleene Dobson’s bid for Congress: ‘She’s going to win that race.’

U.S. Rep. Elise Stefanik said her political action committee is expanding its focus to the South, National Review reported. Stefanik's E-PAC has raised more than $3 million to help elect more Republican women to Congress.

Furthermore, National Review ReportsE-PAC “was once an insurgent organization dedicated to electing conservative women and rebelling against party leadership, but has transformed into the de facto party campaign organization as New York Republicans climb the ranks.”

In the 2024 election cycle, E-PAC’s endorsements are closely aligned with the NRCC’s top candidates, leveraging Stefanik’s strong fundraising capabilities and the priorities of an expected House Republican majority after the November general election.

Stefanik highlighted one of her first-round supporters, Republican candidate Carolyn Dobson, who is a candidate in Alabama's 2nd Congressional District.

“One of the things I'm most proud of is [that] “E-PAC is often the first to endorse these important races,” she said. “Those are the hidden races that you're not paying attention to,” Stefanik said.

Dobson will face off against Democratic candidate Shomali Figures, a Mobile native who has served in Washington, D.C., since 2009 as an appointee to both the Obama and Biden administrations. The November 2024 general election will be the first test of new district boundaries after the U.S. Supreme Court ruled that Alabama's maps violated the Voting Rights Act.

“She will win that election,” Rep. Stefanik said.
