Republican Colorado Rep. Lauren Boebert allegedly punched her ex-husband twice before calling police at a restaurant in Colorado on Saturday night, according to the Denver Post.

According to the newspaper, an investigation by the Surlit Police Department is ongoing, Chief Mike Kite confirmed. According to reports, police arrived at the scene after the incident, but neither party was subsequently arrested.
“This is a sad situation for everyone that continues to escalate and is another reason why I am moving,” Boebert said in a statement to the outlet from her campaign manager. “I didn't punch Jason in the face, so no one was arrested.”
The Colorado Republican's ex-husband told police on Sunday that he had been in a heated discussion with Lauren Boebert, the newspaper reported. He reportedly does not intend to press charges.
