Sean ‘Diddy’ combs’ defense team accused CNN of editing and destroying the only copy of the video showing the music mogul attacking Cathy Ventura, court documents said.

The video in question was the only known video that existed, a source told TMZ. Diddy’s defense team has indicated that they will submit a motion to remove the video from Diddy’s upcoming trials, which are scheduled to begin in May. According to TMZ, authorities have indicted Didi for attacking Ventura, which they intended to use to demonstrate Dadi’s case of violence.
The defense alleged that CNN changed the footage by “covering the timestamp and changing the video sequence.”

“It also involves speeding up the video so that the video action appears to be done incorrectly,” they said in the letter. “As a result, CNN Video does not portray the event in question fairly and accurately.”

The InterContinental Hotel, where the video was recorded, was closed at the location.
TMZ reported that the judge in this famous case is likely to insist on presenting the live footage as video evidence, and that the new information could very well hinder the Ventura video from being shown to ju judges in court.
