A Florida father armed with a Louisville Slugger confronted a suspected “peeping tom” who was peeking through his daughter's bedroom window, FOX35 reported Tuesday.
My father Fox 35 The suspect had been causing trouble to neighbors for a year, and residents had set up a hiding place in their backyards waiting for him to arrive.
In video footage of the September 13 incident in Flagler County, released exclusively by FOX35, the father can be heard chasing the man down the street, yelling, “Where are you going, boy? Come here…come here…something's on you.”

“I said a few choice words and swung the bat when he turned to face me,” his father said, “and he didn't seem fazed. He was a pretty big guy so I thought I was going for his head, and when I did, he started to run away.”
FOX35 reports the suspect, who had been caught sneaking around windows in the past, was also spotted outside the same home just the day before.
“[My wife] “My daughter was in the pouring rain when she saw a shadow of a man in the backyard, staring at me,” her father said. “I don't know how long he was there, but I never noticed him. She started screaming and chased him away.”
The father said he had filed reports on the suspect multiple times, but this time he took action himself.
“I sat down in a chair and picked up a beer and a baseball bat,” he said, according to FOX 35. “Who has the nerve to show up the next night at the exact same time police were called? I didn't think he'd show up.”
Police arrested 29-year-old Damon Smith, who claimed he gets turned on by roaming other people's property, FOX35 reported.
Smith, who was wearing a Michael Myers T-shirt with the words “Everyone deserves to be scared once in a while” on the front, was charged with aggravated stalking, voyeurism and loitering, FOX35 reported.
He is being held on $86,000 bail.
