Fred Durst and Limp Bizkit are reportedly suing music giant Universal Music Group for over $200 million.

The famous rock star claimed that UMG failed to pay millions of dollars for the royalties and profits they claimed they owed. According to TMZ. The outlet reported Monday that it has filed a new lawsuit claiming that the well-known singer has generated more than 3 billion streams in the last two years alone, but has not been paid a fair share of royalties. The artist claimed that UMG has no intention of paying royalties, and said that he believes many other artists are missing out on streaming money, according to TMZ.

According to TMZ, Durst and Limp Bizkit claimed that UMG designed and implemented a royalty software system that intentionally concealed royalties that were acquired by artists.

Durst and his band Stein claimed there was a problem with the record deal they signed when they first signed with UMG when they first appeared on the music scene in the 1990s. Durst cited a contract with a record executive, split into a 50/50 profit split on a particular music venture, claiming he never collected what he owed. Locker also claimed that he was promised 10% of his profits from Stain after he discovered the band and signed the label under the umbrella of UMG. According to TMZ, his lawsuit alleges that payments made towards the transaction suddenly stopped in 2012. According to TMZ, Durst and Limp’s Bizkit could “easily” exceed $200 million and estimate they are seeking damages as part of the lawsuit.
