Three people reportedly were injured when a shot rang around 2am Monday at the Boosie Bada’s concert at a bar in Akron, Ohio.
Gunshots rang, scrambling in the Fieldhouse lounge, and the concert suddenly stopped. Two male victims, ages 18 and 36, were shot dead in the torso area and taken to a local hospital in critical condition, while the 25-year-old victim later arrived at the hospital with garish wounds. Millers told TMZ that he believed the gunman had slipped blind spots and side doors with his weapon, and although there was a security guard at the venue, there was no police presence at the front door. There was security in place to tap and scan attendees. The gunman reportedly escaped Sheen on foot.
Police have yet to identify the potential motivation behind the shooting, but at this time they do not believe the rapper is being targeted. According to TMZ, the first reports suggest that the gunman got caught up in an argument with another individual in the crowd and fired two shots from the semi-automatic weapon.
A pair of shell casings has been recovered at the scene and police are searching for surveillance video to assist in the investigation.
Boosie Badazz has issued a statement to XXL regarding the incident.
“Unfortunately, there was a conflict on my show. I work hard to make sure everyone is having a great experience, but sometimes things happen,” he said.
“We would like to thank the Akron police and first responders for keeping everyone safe and spreading the situation within minutes. Thank you for your support.”

This is not Boosie Baddazz’s first such experience. The famous artist suffered a gunshot wound at a similar music rally in 2022.
