REPORT: Kevin Hart Loses Lawsuit Against TashaK

Los Angeles County Superior Court Judge Mitchell L. Beckloff on Thursday denied Kevin Hart's request for an emergency temporary restraining order (TRO) against celebrity gossip blogger Latasha “Tasha K” Kebbe, Rolling Stone reports. Reported.

The request related to an interview Mr. Kebbe conducted with Mr. Hart's former assistant, Mischa Shakes, which Mr. Hart's team deemed “defamatory.” During the court hearing, Judge Beckloff pointed out significant omissions in Mr. Hart's petition for a restraining order, which was filed on January 19th. The petition said the petition lacked a transcript of the controversial hour-and-a-half interview posted on Kebbe's website.of rolling stone.

“Part of the problem I have is that I'm not directly quoting anything that happened in the hour-and-a-half interview,” Beckloff said, according to Rolling Stone.

According to Rolling Stone, in response to the judge's concerns, Hart's attorney, Donte Mills, acknowledged that he had the transcript, but that he would not release it because it would defeat the purpose of the TRO if the contents were made public. He reportedly expressed hesitation.

“There's no question about them. Some of the speakers' statements are illegal. This is defamation, this is extortion, and it clearly shows their malicious intent,” Mills said. “Until this video came out, there had never been an allegation that my client had committed a crime. I think that's important. Adultery is different, but adultery is not illegal.” (Related: Kevin Hart plans aerial heist in new trailer for 'Rift')

Despite Mills' arguments, Judge Beckloff remained unconvinced and reportedly dismissed the TRO request. He advised Hart's lawyers to either submit the transcript under seal or file a separate motion for a preliminary injunction, the newspaper said. The guidance concerns a major legal battle that Hart is engaged in, including a lawsuit filed against Shakes and Kebbe in December alleging extortion, breach of contract, invasion of privacy and defamation. The paper pointed out.

The lawsuit stems from an interview with Shakes posted on Kebe's website, which Hart claims was part of an attempted shakedown, Rolling Stone reported. Additionally, Kebe has been known to face defamation claims in the past, most notably a lawsuit involving Cardi B that resulted in a $4 million defamation verdict against her. The media is reporting.

The next public hearing is scheduled for February 29th.
