Wow, this is insane.
Superstar two-guard Kyrie Irving will join the Phoenix Suns, his current team, the Dallas Mavericks, and another franchise (Houston Rockets) when NBA free agency begins June 30. etc.) are also reported to be in talks. bleacher report.
B/R reports that all meetings with Mr. Irving will be held in Los Angeles.
The Suns, which already have a big three of Kevin Durant, Devin Booker and Bradley Beal, are very aggressive about adding more elite talent. Phoenix’s new governor Matt Ishbia and general manager James Jones are reportedly working around the clock to build a winning team.
However, Bleacher Report points out that the Dallas Mavericks are still considered Irving’s favorites.

Kyrie Irving is also one of the superstars I’m “interested in” with the Miami Heat, but don’t worry, I’m not going to rant any further. He just remembered the frustration.
Anyway… nothing happens as sexy as the Big 4 of Kylie, KD, Booker and Biel.
With the NBA’s collective bargaining agreement as it stands, it will be very difficult for the Suns to bring in Irving. If he gets him in a sign-and-trade, the first salary cap apron will have a hard cap, which is expected to be $172 million. In addition, Phoenix will not be able to take advantage of the $12.4 million non-taxpayer intermediate level exception or the $5 million taxpayer intermediate level exception. In other words, numbers don’t work at all.
Like I said… it’s not happening.
