REPORT: LeBron’s I Promise School Is An Utter Disaster With Some Students Not Passing A Test In Years

Hi Bron Bron.

Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James committed himself to charity years ago, claiming he wanted to change the lives of at-risk students and their parents in Akron, Ohio. His hometown is the same area he left heartbroken. (Twice). But I did.

Opened in 2018, LeBron’s I Promise School is part of Akron Public Schools. But time has passed, and it’s been several years since the school’s eighth-grade class passed the Ohio math test, according to the paper. Akron Beacon Journal.

According to their report, the last time an eighth grader passed an Ohio math test was in third grade. Keith Lichty Clifford, head of school improvement at Akron Public Schools, called the students’ test results “disappointing.”

This is terrible.

I respect the fact that LeBron James is trying to make a difference here, but how has things gotten so bad over the years that groups of students can’t pass their tests? And it’s math!

understand. Mathematics can be difficult at times, but it is also one of the most important parts of our society. (Related: ‘Don’t Say Your Coach’s Name’: Aaron Rodgers Goes Glory To ‘Unstable’ Sean Payton)

We have to work harder here, Bron Bron. A school alone does not make a good reputation.

result! I need the result.
