The bodies of Jean Hackman and Betsia Arakawa have reportedly remained unclaimed for a month since the couple was found dead at their home.
The New Mexico office’s office was still showing the names of the famous actor and his wife on March 24th and March 27th on the list of unclaimed deceased. I said TMZ They update it every Monday. Authorities said it is not uncommon for this length of claim, but there was no clear indication as to why a loved one has not made it officially to deal with the matter.
Hackman and Arakawa were found dead at their Santa Fe residence on February 26th, and were later determined to have died on separate days.

TMZ noted that they may be seeing their families make funeral arrangements and plans.

Authorities continue to investigate Hackman and Betsy’s deaths. Carbon monoxide was initially suspected, but was quickly removed, according to the search warrant. According to TMZ, Hackman died of the Hantavirus on February 12th, while Hackman died of heart disease and advanced Alzheimer’s disease on February 17 or 18th, but Arakawa was later determined to have died of the Hantavirus. Officials noted that Hackman may have been unaware of his wife’s death due to the diminished mental state at the time of his death.
