REPORT: Multiple Exotic Dancers File Lawsuit Against Floyd Mayweather

A group of exotic dancers have reportedly filed a blackmail lawsuit against former boxer Floyd Mayweather, alleging he was unpaid and tried to blackmail them. It has been reported.

The dancers said Mayweather and Howard misclassified them as independent contractors rather than employees and did not pay them minimum wage for the hours they worked. The dancers also accused Boxing Champion and Howard of forcing other employees to pay them a portion of their commissions and tips, a violation of the Fair Labor Standards Act, according to The Athletic.

Newly filed court documents include allegations that on April 23, 2023, Mayweather slapped one of his dancers in the face in front of his co-workers when she approached him about his paycheck. She claimed Mayweather punched her and then chased her into the locker room area. According to a reporter from The Athletic, she told him, “I can’t take jokes.”

She said she was subsequently fired “for her perceived involvement in this case and for demanding wages from her previous shift.”

The lawsuit alleges that Mayweather determines when dancers are allowed to leave for the night and “often determines how much of a dancer’s tips the club retains for a particular shift.” He is reported to have claimed that.
