The Game Committee cited a law that would only legalize the adoption of deer as pets if they were born in captivity and approved as a country. Pennsylvania officials said that since the baby was not born prisoner, he cannot be considered domestic because he is under their jurisdiction.
Shiery disputed this and cited deer documents that reportedly took place through the Ministry of Agriculture.
The Game Board said he found money in his collar while arriving in the area with a search warrant. When they began to steal animals, Sierry reportedly resisted. Local reports say they called the state police who handcuffed her.
The Games Committee said they still have deer and have not euthanized him. They added that they are working on ways to proceed with the case.
