REPORT: Robert Kraft’s Son To Challenge Boston Mayor For Her Seat

Josh Kraft, chairman of the New England Patriots Foundation and son of billionaire icon Robert Kraft, plans to challenge Boston Mayor Michelle Woo for the seat in this fall’s Boston City election. Mr. Kraft has been considering a run against Mr. Wu in recent months, but Boston City Councilman Ed Flynn has decided not to run for the seat that his father, Ray Flynn, had previously claimed. So, Mr. Kraft was given the green light for the move.

According to Politico, Mr. Kraft’s advisers were seen scouting office space in the city’s Plaza Nubia in hopes of setting up a campaign base. Mr. Craft, 57, already has ties to the Roxbury area, where he serves as president of the Eastern Massachusetts Urban League.

I don’t know much about Boston politics, but I can relate to anyone who is the son of a legendary NFL owner who goes to the bodega to buy sneakers.

Robert Kraft will forever be a legend.
