Social media star Alisha Barney reportedly passed away on March 2nd of sleep, a day before she turned 25.
Bernie was on a holiday in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico at the time of her death. According to FOX4. Her brother Charles said he was with Bernie at the time of her death and died of an asthma attack while he was asleep. Bernie had attracted millions of followers across her social media platforms. The Kansas City native worked on Tiktok, Instagram and YouTube, and owned her own production company, Aburney Productions.
Bernie has produced films such as “Shiesty,” “Shiesty II,” “Lost Angeles,” and her final film, “Hot Girl Getaway.” All of these films are accessible through our YouTube channel. She had other projects in the work when she died.
“She was not selfish in her knowledge, and was a very open book about her journey. She was always loved by her heart and her legacy will continue to live forever,” Charles told FOX4.
“Alisha was very goal-oriented, creative and passionate about giving back. She graduated with a bachelor’s degree in digital media production and worked for a graduate degree,” he said.
Charles dispels rumors surrounding the circumstances surrounding his sister’s death, claiming he has not engaged in drug use.
“She’s not on drugs,” he told the outlet.
“She was a self-loving, happy individual, cherished her life and looked forward to planning for next year. She was in Mexico to celebrate her birthday. She was a very classy young woman,” he said.

“There’s been misinformation spread online and I say a lot of things based on speculation. These sources are unreliable and should not be unbelievable. Bernie’s official cause of death is not publicly shared.
