Restaurant with cockroaches, moldy pesto

Phoenix (3TV/CBS 5) Every week, an Arizona family inspects a restaurant recently inspected by Maricopa County’s Department of Environmental Services. Restaurants with the highest number of “risk factors” deemed by inspectors to be serious health code violations are selected for the Dirty Dining Report.   • Cabbage not cold enough

3 violations

  • Mold grows on pesto sauce containers
  • Raw ribs preserved on produce

cook and craft – 7306 E. Shea Blvd, Scottsdale

3 violations

  • Chemical cleaner next to clean dishes
  • Wings and raw beef not kept at proper temperature

Beast of Bourbon Bar and Grill – 2235 S. Power Road, Mesa

4 violations

  • cook a tortilla with your bare hands
  • Raw beef in contact with a bag of cooked meatballs
  • Cockroach crawling on the kitchen floor

Pacino – 2831 N. Power Road, Mesa

4 violations

  • Empty bottles stored in hand washing sink
  • Vitamins and over-the-counter medicines on food preparation table
  • Cockroach near the stove
