Dr. Tim Richards, Superintendent of CRUHSD
We are reorganizing the Mojave High School administration team to best meet the needs of our students. I met Mrs Covert today. She plans to use her experience and skill set to serve students in her new academic year. Mrs. Covert will have to spend the rest of the school year transitioning into this new role. As such, she will serve as principal of Mojave High School starting today.
Our new management structure will help support the many exciting changes planned for the coming year. These changes include, but are not limited to:
- All students are provided with their own laptop.
- All students have access to virtual tutoring 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
- All students have access to additional academic interventions or enrichment opportunities during class.
- All our teachers receive training in the best student engagement strategies in the world.
These are just a few examples of how you can meet your collective commitments and become a professional learning community. It takes a special kind of leadership to create the right culture to make these things happen. Fortunately, our team has motivated leaders and some of the best teachers in Mojave County. Together, with the support of our community, they help students win in academics, arts and athletics It helps to encourage me to
