Former independent presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. has removed his name from Wyoming's general election ballot, the Secretary of State's office confirmed Thursday.
Kennedy notified the state office on Wednesday that he intended to withdraw his name from the state's general election ballot, which was granted the next day. According to Kennedy suspended his campaign in August to endorse former President Donald Trump and has since been working to remove his name from the ballot in several states, according to a press release.
“Following notice of withdrawal, Robert F. Kennedy Jr. will not appear on the Wyoming ballot as a presidential candidate,” Secretary of State Chuck Gray said in a statement. “Our department remains committed to providing continuous and transparent service to the people of Wyoming.”
