You could almost hear the gasps from the Washington, D.C., establishment when they learned that Florida Republican Congressman Matt Gaetz would be appointed attorney general by President Donald Trump. To be honest, my first reaction wasn’t positive either.
But sometimes your first reaction is wrong.
Three years ago, when reports from a D.C. prison about the abuse of prisoners on January 6 made headlines in conservative media, Gaetz said: one of the few Congressmen led by Rep. Louis Gohmert went to the prison and demanded to meet with the prisoners. These members were rejected by prison officials, even though the DC prison was directly under their financial authority. But Gates didn’t forget.
Three years later, the Justice Department is still prosecuting and ruining the lives of grandparents across the country who were forced into the Capitol by Capitol Police. take a photo In the rotunda.
Mr. Gates will put an end to this and hold people accountable for all the civil liberties abuses by filing trumped-up charges and incarcerating people for felonies upheld by the Supreme Court. finally declared It would be an unconstitutional application of an unrelated law.
If there is justice, just as former Attorney General Jeff Sessions settled a lawsuit brought by Tea Party groups that were mistreated by the Internal Revenue Service under the Obama administration, Gates will inevitably face consequences. It will also resolve the huge amount of civil liability lawsuits that arise as a result of this.
Gaetz plans to end the program using FBI agents. Encourage social media companies To censor conservative ideas on their platforms. Hopefully, he will also fire all the Justice Department employees who gleefully participated in this direct attack on free speech.
Gaetz will likely change the focus of the department’s Civil Rights Division so that it can identify and prosecute those who encouraged noncitizens to vote in elections, and spotlight and fire public officials involved in the process. I’m thinking of doing it. Apparently, the names of those who voted illegally will be turned over to Immigration and Customs Enforcement for immediate deportation, as required by law.
Mr. Gaetz will stop the Justice Department from prosecuting and imprisoning people. person praying Support those who protect children in front of abortion clinics or from attacks by mentally insane abortion workers, and end the abuse of the FACE Act by radical federal prosecutors.
Mr. Gaetz plans to fire Justice Department officials who refuse to declassify documents that the president has authorized to be declassified. Rather than bow to bureaucrats who think they are above the president they are empowered by, Gates either fires them or moves them to an office in Fargo, North Dakota, with no furniture or computers. I have the courage to do it. If you have a fever, you’re lucky.
The bottom line is that former Attorney General Sessions was, and still is, a gentleman’s gentleman. He is an honest and good man, but that very quality was exploited by those in permanent power within the Justice Department. The denizens of the Justice Department deep state will have no illusions that the man who ousted the Speaker of the House will not succeed in destroying their fiefdom.
Perhaps some of them will retire rather than risk their pensions through ‘resistance’.
Gates doesn’t even know who the 1970s rockers are. alice cooper But America needs a new attorney general to enforce the 1973 national anthem. ”No More Mr. Nice GuyBecause the first Trump presidency proved that trying to befriend the deep state only emboldens those who believe their power exceeds elections. President Trump needs a wrecking ball to end the weaponization of the justice system and the corruption in the Justice Department.
Gates is just the right man for the job.
